Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie, along with the rest of her family, were born in Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young time, she was a huge sports enthusiast and enjoyed doing exercises. Many medals were awarded to her during school competitions. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as in 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around the 67-kg mark. Annie began CrossFit classes in California at the age of 2009. The first time she competed, she performed very well and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. The team was unable to win any awards and ended up 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. The following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She became the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal as well as, more recently, in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
